7/12/10- Moved and setting up shop- I have moved to Massachusetts with my wife, Kara, after a very busy Spring filled with conventions and new trophies. We just got back from a 3 week trip around Europe and are now working on deciding on a perfect location for the new shop. We have a very promising lead that we're really excited about, and hope to be up and running in the next 3-4 months. If you are interested in being tattooed by me in this transitional time, I have a few different studios I will be bouncing around between. Get in touch (via email) and I will give you the details. Please click on the facebook link to keep up to date on my latest work/news because I am able to update that more frequently. I'm really excited to be back and can't wait to start working on some new, fun projects in New England!
1/25/10 - Huge News, I Am Moving Again - So if you are a regular client or have been in to see me in the past month you have probably already heard but if you haven't its official, I am moving again. As of June 1st I am leaving Maryland and heading back up north. I am setting my sites on Massachusetts, most likely somewhere in the surrounding areas of Boston. I will be posting more about where exactly I will be and where I will be working as it unfolds. In the meantime I am very busy in maryland and have quite a few very cool projects to finish up before leaving. If you have something in progress but have been waiting to finish it or if you have a cool piece that you have wanted me to do but haven't gotten around to contacting me NOW IS THE TIME. I can not stress this enough because if you wait until the last minute there is no guarantee I will be able to get to you. As for sleeves and other very large projects I am only taking a few, if any more on here in Maryland and unless you plan on taking trips up to new england to finish I will only be starting them for the next couple weeks to ensure that I have time to complete them.
1/25/10 - conventions coming up and some awesome press - So the Baltimore Convention is coming up again in less then two weeks and promises to be bigger and crazier then ever. I am completely booked with some really fun, exciting pieces but if you are going to be there make sure to stop by the booth and say hi. In March it will be time for the Philly convention which I still may have a spot or 2 left open, so get in touch with me asap if you are interested in getting tattooed there. This will probably be the last convention I do for a little while as I will be focusing on tying up loose ends and preparing for the move from then on. The other big news I have this week is that I was given the honor of receiving a 5 page feature in the current issue of Tattoo Revue magazine. Everyone should go out and grab themselves a copy, it is issue number 145. I have posted it here on my myspace page so you can preview it.
1/10/10 - 2009 recap - Ok so 2009 was an amazing year, it was my busiest year yet so I would just like to recap on some of my adventures and travels. I spent most of the summer staying very busy down here at the shop in Maryland, doing lots of cool tattoos. I also spent this time experimenting with a few different kinds of new tattoo machines. I found one that I really enjoy and since then it has become the only machine I use. I'm always happy to talk about it with anyone who's curious if you are interested in the technical side of tattooing. Towards the end of the summer I went up to providence for the annual rock the ink convention, tattooed a lot of old friends and generally had a blast. After that I was only home for a few short weeks before it was off to the paradise tattoo convention in the mountains of Massachusetts. I soaked up a lot of knowledge in the many discussion panels and seminars this amazing convention had to offer. Once again I was home for only a few weeks before I was up in Massachusetts again for the Boston convention. Only a year before this was the first convention I had ever worked and now I returned and won first place trophies for tattoo of the day and best small color. As the year went on I was invited to do a guest spot at the very awesome Transcend Tattoo in Branford Connecticut. I ended up working there for a whole week and had such a great time. I have made plans to make regular visits and will be going back to Connecticut to work at least twice a year. It was my best year yet and I dont plan on slowing down anytime soon, I have a lot planned as well as one very large announcement so check back soon.
4/7/09 - New updates - Sorry i have definitely been slacking lately when it comes to the updates on here. Okay, first thing I have recently made some changes to the site. I have finally added new content to the "about" section so please check it out. Also my "tattoos" section you will notice is completely different. Now when you click on the link it will take you to my image gallery on the brand new tattooed heart studios website. While you are there looking at my tattoos feel free to poke around. Its a really awesome new site! I have added a lot of newer tattoos and will be updating work much more since the layout of the new site makes it really easy and fast for me to do so. Last I just wanted to catch up everyone on my recent convention activities. I had a great time at the recent, spring Philly convention. Did some cool tattoos, one ( a realistic baby monkey) won me a third place trophy for tattoo of the day. A couple weeks after Philly I went up to Sturbridge, Massachusetts for the Massachusetts tattoo and body art festival. It was another super busy, totally booked up weekend. Did a really fun Heath Ledger Joker, and a really cool monster face that won first place for best color tattoo. All the new convention tattoos I mentioned are up now so go check'em out. I am taking a short travel brake so hit me up as I have a few openings for some new projects in Maryland now. I am also planning my summer and will be posting the next wave of travel plans very soon, so keep checking in.
2/10/09 - New press - I was recently interviewed by Georgia from the tattoo.com website. Click here to check out our conversation.
Also my friend Amy Delapas (aka Gizzard) was featured in this month's issue of Tattoos for Women. Among the photos of awesome tattoos she has collected is a pic of the pinup "talula" I did on her calf. Go to your local magazinery and pic it up!
2/6/09 - Convention News - Wow, its been a little while since I have made an update. Things have been pretty crazy but I promise I will try to get back on being better about updates. So first off I'd like to say happy late new years to everyone. Things have been going great at tattooed heart where I have been doing a bunch of new cool pieces. We just finished up with the Baltimore tattoo convention which was a huge success. Huge thanks to everyone who came out to get tattooed, enter contests and just show support. I came home with 3 new trophies which was awesome for me! I did a pirate chick on Jason's arm which won 3rd place tattoo of the day on friday. I won another 1st place trophy on saturday for Kara's cupie doll. Then on sunday I won second place tattoo of the day for this sweet transformers chestpiece I did on Frank. Also tattooed heart hosted the official after party of the convention at Tag gallery in fells point. I had a bunch of new paintings hanging and because of all the success have actually decided to get canvas prints made of many of them which will be up and ready for sale soon.
Now that the Baltimore convention is over I am gearing up for the spring Philly convention. This is a big one and should be a lot of fun. If you are interested in getting an awesome piece and being a part of me trying to win some more trophies I still have a spot or two left available.
11/13/08 - New Shop - I can now be found tattooing full time at Tattooed Heart, right down the street from where I used to be In Glen Burnie Maryland. Check out my contact page or tattooedheart.com for more details. I will be posting more info soon but in the meantime to see the latest pictures you can check out my myspace.
10/30/08 - Back from Providence - I just got back last night from Providence. Pretty tired from working 7 long days in a row, getting my ribs finished and then driving 6 hours back to baltimore. Rock the ink was so much fun. It really was a very cool convention. I would like to thank all the awesome people who I tattooed as well as all the great people who just stopped by to hang out and say hi. On the first day of the convention I worked on a black and grey half sleeve on Devon for nearly 7 hours. That night I was totally stoked to win 1st place in the best small color competition for the cupie doll I did on Kara's back. The next day I worked on Michelle's Balrog backpiece for nearly 6 hours and then did a Jester on Graham that took about 2 hours or so. Sunday I did a really fun zombie in a graveyard based on work by the awesome artist James Ryman. That piece took about 6 and a half hours. Check out all these pieces as well as my stuff from Philly and the past month now in my tattoos section. As I said, I am back in Baltimore now so If you are interested in getting some cool new work I am currently taking appointments.
10/2/08 - fall updates- So first things first, Philly was a lot of fun. I got to do a very big, very cool Yoda on Jason's leg, look for pictures up soon. I also participated in some art fusion which was auctioned of for charity. The fall season is kicking in now and as a result things are slowing down a bit at the shop. Due to me having a little more free time I have put together a binder of realism tattoo ideas that I am offering one a week at half off if you come by the shop. Big news is that I am currently scheduled to work the Rock the Ink tattoo and music festival in providence RI, Oct 24- 26. I will be sharing a booth with my good friend and old coworker, Walter Canavan. Hit me up with your cool ideas as I am now booking appointments!

9/17/08 - Back from Boston - Got back from Boston a few nights ago and man what an awesome time! Saw so many awesome people who I haven't seen since moving. Also made a lot of great new friends. Listened to a lot of CCR on long, late night car rides back and forth in Johnny's pilot. I worked like a madman, heres a breakdown of pieces. Friday - Oscar the grouch on Aaron's ribs, water connecting sleeve work on chris. Saturday - horror face on the back of Jeremy's leg, beginning of Ben's jolly roger chest piece. Sunday - LIttle bacon and eggs smiley face quicky on Kara's back, Zombified Bruce Campbell from Evil Dead 2 (best movie ever) on Steve's leg. Check out the pictures coming very soon to my tattoos page. Totally exhausted but really excited to do it all over again this Saturday and Sunday in Philly.
8/1/08 - Conventions just announced - I will be splitting a booth with my good buddy and awesome artist Johnny Love at the Boston Tattoo Convention, September 12 - 14.
I will also be hopping on the Tattooed Heart booth with Johnny and other kick ass Tattooed Heart artist Mark Decker the following weekend at the fall Philadelphia Tattoo convention, September 20th and 21st.

If you are going to be at either of these conventions hit me up about getting work done or just stop by and say hi.
7/15/08 - Travel- So I have just recently started thinking about doing a little traveling in the fall/ winter. I have a few things in mind and have been talking to a few people but nothing is set in stone as of yet. If any shop owners would like to talk to me about guest spots or if you just think i should come to your town and do some tattoos don’t be shy about letting me know.
7/8/08 - Summertime- Summer is definitely in full swing now. I have been getting pretty busy and will have some new pics to update soon. I have started some large projects. One I am really stoked about is a Star Wars leg sleeve on my new buddy Jason, bassist for the sick Maryland band Andover. Check them out. Even though things are busy I am still ready to take on some cool new projects so hit me up with your ideas.
6/17/08 -New shop- Things are well underway for me at Art With A Pulse. My new coworkers have been awesome so far and made me feel very welcome. I have already started doing a few cool pieces, one is a Frankenstien done on the leg of my new friend and coworker Bobby. Another really fun new piece is a John Waters portrait I started which is just the beginning of a whole “best of baltimore” piece. Check them both out in my tattoos section.
6/5/08- I moved!- If you haven't already heard I have left providence. I spent some great years living there and made a lot of friends who I’m sure I will know for a long time. The time has come for a change and my lovely girlfriend Kara and I have picked up everything and moved to a new apartment in Baltimore, Maryland. It feels great to be back in Baltimore after 7 years away. I will be working at Art With A Pulse Tattoo in Glen Burnie so if you are anywhere near the area and are looking to get some cool tattoo work drop me a line.
6/1/08- Welcome- As you have probably already figured out this is my new web site. Check back often as I will be writing news updates and posting my new tattoo work frequently.
